A prerequisite for using this manual to service Dell computer systems is a
basic knowledge of IBM
compatible PC troubleshooting techniques. In addition to information pro-
vided in this manual and the User's Guide that came with the system, Dell
provides the Diagnostics and Troubleshooting Guide for troubleshooting pro-
cedures and instructions on using the Dell diagnostics to test the computer
system.
