Warning! This appliance operates at a temperature of
200-600 degrees without visible signs of this temperature
(no flames); still there is a chance of fire risk . Watch out for
the hot air stream from the mouthpiece . This air stream
can cause burns .
When operating the appliance:
• If you are going to use the hot air gun, vapours and gas
can be liberated during a short time . This can be harmful
for your health . Asthmatics can suffer hindrance of it .
• Before connecting the plug to the mains voltage you
have to check if the switch is in position "0" .
• Keep the mains lead always away from the mouthpiece
of the hot air gun .
• Keep children and animals away from the appliance if
you are using it .
Immediately switch off the appliance when:
• plug and/or cable are defective or damaged;
• the switch is defective;
• you smell or see smoke caused by scorched insulation
from the hot air gun .

BEFORE OPERATING

Before you switch on the hot air gun you have to search
for the right adapter for the mouthpiece and assemble it
on the mouthpiece if it is still cold .
Important: Replace the mouthpiece only:
• with a stationary engine;
• when the appliance is disconnected;
• when the mouthpiece is cold .

OPERATION

• Check if the mains switch is on position "0" before you
connect the apparatus;
• Keep the power voltage always away from the hot air
stream and the mouthpiece .
Tip: If you want to get the best result, test all appliances
on a little part of the workpiece .

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Make sure that the machine is not live when carry-
ing out maintenance work on the motor .
• Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft cloth,
preferably after each use . Keep the ventilation slots free
from dust and dirt .If the dirt does not come off use a soft
cloth moistened with soapy water . Never use solvents
such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water, etc . These sol-
vents may damage the plastic parts .
• The machine requires no additional lubrication .
• Should a fault occur, e .g . after wear of a part, please
contact your local BORT GLOBAL LIMITED dealer .
DISPOSAL
Discarded electric appliances are recyclable and
should not be discarded in the domestic waste!
Please actively support us in conserving resources
and protecting the environment by returning this
appliance to the collection centres (if available) .
In order to prevent the machine from damage during
transport, it is delivered in a sturdy packaging . Most of
the packaging materials can be recycled . Take these ma-
terials to the appropriate recycling locations . Take your
unwanted machines to your local BORT GLOBAL LIMITED
dealer . Here they will be disposed of in an environmentally
safe way .
Noise/Vibration Information
Measured in accordance with EN 60745-2-11 the sound
power level is 70 dB(A) (standard deviation: 3 dB), and the
vibration is 7,9 m/s
(hand-arm method) .
