The TL4000/TL2000 allows the user via RMU to remove power to the drives to make drive
configuration changes without powering the library off. The user can select all the installed drives
to be powered down or powered up via the RMU. In the case when the library is configured with
more than 1 half height drive selecting to power down all the drives at once will not take effect.
Only a subset of the drives will be turn off. To work around this issue the user must select one
drive at the time and turn it off.
TL2000/TL4000 Documentation does not clearly describe the different library user
accounts available
The TL4000/TL2000 has 3 different levels of user accounts that are allow to access the RMU
interface: User, Admin, and Service
The user account has only viewing privileges to the unit, not able to make any configuration
changes
The Admin account has access to monitor, configure and running unit diagnostics (only exception
is the advance diagnostics reserved for service only)
The service account had all the same privileges as the admin account with the additional advance
unit diagnostics.
TL2000/TL4000 Error viewing logs might appear corrupt when user selects the number of
entries per page greater than 150
PowerVault TL4000/TL2000 allows the user to select the number of items per page to be listed in
the library log file information. When selecting a file number greater than 150 entries per page the
web output of the log is corrupted. Issue work around is to limit the entries per page to 150 of less
Erroneous Grayed-Out Number Displays in No Cycles Field When Execute Diagnostics
PowerVault TL4000/TL2000 shows the user the number of executed cycles performed during the
diagnostics cycle. Upon starting the diagnostics testing a grayed out number appears in the cycle
count window. The cycle count will not be available to the user until the first full diagnostics cycle
is complete.

When executing manual drive cleaning in the PowerVault TL4000/TL2000 on a unit that contains
more than one drive, the drop down menus to select another drive in the unit remain grayed-out a
successful cleaning drive # 1 via the RMU,. User must manually refresh the page by using the
refresh button on the page in order to proceeded with cleaning of a second drive
