This document provides instructions for installing Computer Associates ARCserveIT
Microsoft
PowerVault 120T DDS4 Autoloader.
   
To make your PowerVault 120T DDS4 Autoloader compatible with ARCserveIT 6.61
for Windows NT 4.0, perform the following steps.
NOTE: The following steps assume that ARCserveIT Workgroup or Advanced Edition
software is installed on your system and that the drive is attached and turned on.

Go to http://support.cai.com.
In the Support by Product drop-down menu, select ARCserve/ARCserveIT .
Type       in Quick Search to find
the ARCserveIT 6.6x for Windows NT Certified Device List.
Click ARCserveIT 6.6x for Windows NT Certified Device List.
Find the Dell PowerVault 120T DDS4 on the TAPE LIBRARIES table and record
the footnote number.
At the top of the page, find the footnote number from step 5 and click the hyper-
link to download the software update.
Create a temporary directory on your local hard-disk drive.
Use an extractor application program to unzip the downloaded files to the tempo-
rary directory that you created.
Install ARCserveIT Workgroup or ARCserveIT Advanced Edition.
