Installing Sanding Sheets (Fig. 2)
WARNING

Your sander uses hook-and-loop backed
sandpaper, which firmly grips the backing pad
when applied with moderate pressure.
To change, merely peel off the old sandpaper,
remove dust from the backing pad if necessary,
and press the new sandpaper in place. Be sure
to align the sanding sheet holes with the holes in the backing pad to allow the dust-extraction
system to function.
Turning the Sander On/Off (Fig. 3)
To turn on the sander, depress the side of the
On/Off switch marked "I". To turn it off, depress
the side of the On/Off switch marked "O".
Microfilter Dust Canister
The integrated dust-extraction system collects sanding dust in the microfilter dust canister
supplied with your sander. For maximum efficiency, the dust canister should be emptied
frequently during operation.
WARNING
careful of dust disposal; materials in fine particle form may be explosive. Do not throw sanding
dust on an open fire. Combustion from mixtures of varnishes, lacquers, polyurethane, oil or
water with dust particles can occur if there is a static discharge, spark introduced in the box, or
excessive heat.
