To fit the blender's glass jug (3) onto the main body (7), turn it
clockwise until it locks. NOTE: there is only one way to fit the jug
in the right position for safety reasons.
•
Fill the glass jug (3) with the desired foods (Never fill the glass
jug beyond the maximum capacity 1500ml). Do not use the unit
without any ingredients inside. Always pour liquids into the
blender's glass jug (3) before adding solid ingredients.
•
Put the lid (1) including the measuring cup (2) on top of the glass
jug (3) and push it down.
•
Now you will be able to use the blender's operational panel (6),
see the guide below for the different modes. NOTE: Never
remove the lid while your blender is running. To add ingredients
during operation, either remove the measuring cap or stop the
blender first, then open the lid.
START: Press to get in standby mode
PULSE: Press to run at maximum speed. The blender automatically
switches itself off as soon as you release this button, giving you
complete control of the task from start to finish. You can also press
this button at the end of a task to emulsify the ingredients.
ICE: Press for crushing ice cubes (no need to add liquid). Press
STOP to stop this mode.
MENU: Each press will change the mode; the display shows the
default blending time and speed. There are 6 preset programs. These
six programs are STIR, WHIP, CREAM, PUREE, CHOP and GRIND.
Press STOP to stop each mode before its due time.
SMOOTHIE: Press for the smoothie mode. Press STOP to stop this
mode.
SPEED: Each press will change the blending speed
STOP: Press to stop the blender but stay in standby mode
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
Always remove the plug from the socket when the device is to be
cleaned.
•
Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe appliance surfaces.
•
Clean the accessories with warm soapy water to avoid bacterial
growth.
•
The components are not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher. If
exposed to heat or caustic cleaners they might become
misshapen or discoloured.
•
Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and
abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages
the device.
•
Never immerse the electrical device in water or any other liquid.
The device itself is not dishwasher proof.
•
CAUTION! The blades in the glass jug are very sharp, never try it
yourself to undo the blades and be careful cleaning them. Avoid
all bodily contact with the blades, they can seriously injure you.
