Thoroughly clean thermal material from the surfaces of the system board components (1) (3) and
the heat sink (2) (4) each time you remove the heat sink. All heat sink and system board spare part
kits include thermal material.
2.
To remove the heat sink on models with UMA graphics memory:
a.
In the order indicated on the heat sink, loosen the four captive Phillips screws (1) that secure the
heat sink to the system board.
b.
Lift the heat sink from the system board (2), and then pull the heat sink away from the side of the
chassis to remove it (3).
