    Advanced Chipset Features This section allows you to configure the system based on the specific features of the installed chipset. This chipset manages bus speeds and access to sys- tem memory resources, such as DRAM and the external cache. It also coor- dinates communications between the conventional ISA bus and the PCI bus.

    Integrated Peripherals On-Chip IDE Device Option are in its sub-menu. Press<Enter>to enter the sub-menu of detailed options. IDE HDD Block Mode If your IDE hard disk drive supports block mode (most new drives do), select Enabled to automatic detect the optimal number of block read and writes per sector that the drive can support and improves the speed of access to IDE devices.

If you install a device that supports UltraDMA, change the appropriate item on this list to Auto. You may have to install the UltraDMA driver supplied with this mainboard in order to use an UltraDMA device.
