These DIMM slots are ntended for memory modules.
Triple-Channel Mode
Ths mode offers the hgh throughput for applcatons. Interleavng reduces over-
all memory latency by accessng the DIMM memory sequentally. Data s spread
through the memory modules n an alternatng pattern.
Three independent memory channels give two possible modes of interleaving:

Trple-channel mode s enabled when dentcal matched memory mod-
ules are nstalled n each of the three memory channels (black DIMM
slots).
◯
If only two of the black DIMM slots are populated wth matched DIMMs,
dual-channel memory s enabled.
