  • Page 18 Figure 12B (For TVs over 20") PROFILE VIEW (DETAIL) Tip of Screw should be flush with bracket. Don’t forget those wires! If your audio, video, and power cables will not be accessible after you mount the TV, you need to make those connections now. Before doing this, however, make sure all TV and component power cords are not plugged into any electrical outlets and your audio and video equipment is turned off.
  • Page 19 Mounting the TV Before you begin this step, be sure to tighten the Tilt Screw on the Wall Mount (WM) completely using a Phillips-head screwdriver. Make sure that the tilting component is straight. This step makes your mount stable and easy to assemble. When you’re ready to put the Monitor Plate (MP) onto the wall mount, get a friend or an assistant to help you lift the TV and guide the monitor plate onto the wall mount, as shown in Figure 13.
  • Page 20 After you’re confident it is properly installed and the TV is securely mounted to the wall, you need to tighten the Security Screws (X or W) using a Phillips-head screwdriver as shown in Figure 13. You really need two people for this part of the task: one person can hold the TV steady while the other turns the security screws into the Wall Mount (WM).
