The DG-102S/SH VoIP Station Gateway links traditional telephony networks to IP networks,
allowing reductions in toll charges and network consolidation. It offers a cost-effective way to
leverage existing IP networks and provide alternative long-distance voice/fax services-

connection path between the POTS (plain
old telephone service) lines via global
I n t e r n e t n e t w o r k w i t h c o n v e n t i o n a l
telephony equipment such as telephones
and fax machines using loop start foreign
exchange station (FXS) interfaces. It is a
complete solution for connecting existing
telephony equipment in homes and small
offices to private networks or the public
Internet.
IP Sharing
The Gateway supports Network Address
Translator (NAT) protocol, which allows
multiple users to access the Internet using a
single shared IP address. This can greatly
reduce the costs associated with Internet
access and provide a degree of security to
your Internet connection.

analog loop-start FXS ports, 1 RJ-45 10/100 Mbps WAN port
and 1 RJ-45 10/100 Mbps LAN port, linking traditional
telephony networks to IP networks.
2 Voice/Fax over IP Channels
The Gateway comprises 2 voice/fax over IP
channels with the female RJ-11 connectors
that provide voice/fax communication over
the existing IP data network or the Internet.
Reduce Long Distance Phone
Charges
By routing calls over the Internet or any IP
network, this gateway can reduce or
eliminate long distance inter-office phone
charges.
Reduce Leased Lines
