Troubleshooting

Check the pump after power cut-off.
Symptom
The motor cannot be
started
The
motor
is
operation, but no water
is discharged
Insufficient pressure
Cause
Single-phase power
supply (three-phase
electric motor):
poor connection of
a.
the power switch;
fuse is burned out;
b.
loose power lead;
c.
phase failure of the cable.
Capacitor is burned out.
The rotating shaft and
bearing are jammed.
Impeller is jammed.
Stator winding is damaged.
Incorrect direction of pump
rotation.
The pump is not fully filled
with water.
The impeller is damaged.

Leakage of the suction
pipe.
Water level is too low.
Freeze
caused
accumulated water in the
pipeline or the chamber.
Incorrect pump type.

Corrective Action
repair switch contact

or replace the switch;
replace the safety fuse;

check and tighten

Replace the bearing

maintenance point for
repair).
Turn rotating shaft of the
fan blade terminal with
screw driver to let it
rotate flexibly or demount
the pump body to clear
sundries.
Replace winding coils
(send to the maintenance
point for repair).
Invert
two-phase
wirings of the motor
(three-phase motor).
Re-fill
the
pump
water.
Replace the impeller (send
to the maintenance point
for repair).
Check sealing of various
joints of the inlet pipelines.
Adjust installation height of
the pump.
