TV mode - Closed Caption
This unit has a built in decoder that provides a visual depiction of
the audio portion of a television program in the form of written
words across the screen. It allows you to read the dialogue of a
television program or other information.

Press the MENU key on the remote,
use the
key to select "TV". Press
ENTER, select "CC Control" from the
next menu and press ENTER again.

Notes on Closed Caption
Not all TV broadcasts include closed caption
signals.
Sometimes TV stations broadcast four different
caption signals on the same channel. By selecting
from CC 1 to CC 4, you can choose which signal
you view. CC 1 is usually the signal with the
captions, while another mode might show
demonstration or programming function.
Your TV might not receive caption signals normally
if; poor reception is encountered, an old or bad
recorded tape is being played or any strong
interference with the TV signal.

TV mode - Audio Setup - Equalizer
Use the Audio menu to select different options for your listening
desires. The equalizer setup will allow you to select from
different EQ presets from MOVIE, VOCAL, FLAT or MUSIC.

You can also press the EQ key on the
remote control repeatedly to cycle
through these selections.
TV mode - Audio Setup - Surround
Use the Surround selection to simulate surround sound effects
from speakers on the TV unit.
