Slim optical drive
Follow these steps to remove a slim optical drive:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly (see

Remove the access panel (see

Remove the front bezel (see
4.
Disconnect the power cable (1) and data cable (2) from the rear of the slim optical drive.
5.
Press the release lever on the back of the slim optical drive (1).
6.
Remove the slim optical drive (2).
Reverse this procedure to install the slim optical drive.
