Grease filter

The reusable metal grease filter in the
appliance removes solid particles from
the kitchen vapors (grease, dust, etc.)
preventing soiling of the hood.
A dirty filter is a fire hazard!
Cleaning intervals
Over longer periods of time, fat buildup
on the grease filter hardens and makes
cleaning more difficult. Therefore, we
recommend cleaning the grease filters
once every 3-4 weeks.
Clean the grease filters regularly when
the grease filter symbol  on the filter
saturation indicator lights up.
 You can adjust the interval of the filter
saturation indicator to match your
cooking habits (see "Operation").
Cleaning and care
Removing the grease filters
 Insert your finger at the top edge of
the second slat and pull the vapor
canopy out of the catch.
The canopy will swing open.
Putting pressure on the open canopy
can damage it. Do not lean on or
against the canopy.
 To remove a grease filter, release the
locking clip. Then, pull the filter
forward to a 45° angle, unhook it, and
remove it from the hood.
 Close the canopy.
