Using the phone

Switching the handset power on/off

Press and hold
Press and hold

Make an external call

Press
listen for the dial tone then dial the number.

Preparatory dialling (pre-dial)
To see the number on the display before dialling use pre-dial.
Pre-dial numbers can be up to 20 digits long.

In standby, enter the number you want to dial.
Press
to dial.

End a call

Dialling numbers quickly
Numbers can also be dialled in
Handsfree mode (page 26), using the
phonebook (page 35), and from the
calls list (page 40).
When using BT Broadband Talk you
need to use the full dialling number.
If you make a mistake, press
to delete the last digit.
