Important: Refer to your engine operator's manual for additional maintenance procedures.
If you leave the key in the ignition switch, someone could accidently start the engine and
seriously injure you or other bystanders.
Remove the key from the ignition and disconnect the wire from the spark plug(s) before you
do any maintenance. Set the wire aside so that it does not accidentally contact the spark plug.
Maintenance Procedure
• Check the hydraulic uid.
• Change the hydraulic lter and oil.
• Check the safety system.
• Check the air lter minder.
• Check the engine oil level.
• Cleaning the engine screen and the oil cooler.
• Check the mower blades.
• Clean under the mower.
• Grease the mower deck and spindles.
• Check the hydraulic uid.
• Inspect the spark arrester.
• Check the tire pressure.
• Check the pump drive belt.
• Change the engine oil.
• Clean the engine ns.
• Inspect the belts for cracks and wear.
• Check the hydraulic hoses.
• Lubricate the machine with light oil (Refer to Lubrication).
• Change the engine oil lter.
• Check the spark plug.
• Replace the primary air lter.
• Check the wheel hub slotted nut.
• Adjust the caster pivot bearing.
• Replace the safety air lter.
• Replace the fuel lter (Authorized Service Dealer only).
• Grease the front caster pivots (more often in dirty or dusty conditions).
• Change the hydraulic lter and oil.
