Disp. enlarge ......Display the Life history viewer
enlarged screen.
Open......Activate a function corresponding to the data
type, and display the data.
Display setting......Select which type of data to display
with Life history viewer. Alternatively, select Select all/
Release all/Default from the function menu when
selecting the data type.

Turning Power On/Off
Automatically
Set the power to automatically turn on or off at the
specified time.
The power does not turn off while another function
is active, even when the Auto power OFF time is
reached. In addition, the power does not turn off
when the alarm notification time or the i-αppli Auto-
start time is the same as the Auto power OFF time.
The power turns off after the function is finished.
If the power is off, the Music&Video Channel
program download, reserved Software Update or
1Seg timer recording is not available.

Before entering an area such as an aircraft or
hospital where there is electronic equipment that
uses extremely precise control systems or very
low signal levels and use of mobile phones is
prohibited, set the "Auto power ON" setting to
"OFF" and then turn the power off.

Checking Network Status
Check the signal strength for call/packet
transmission.

"Out of service area": The handset is out of
service area.
"Dialing unavailable, Packet transmission
unavailable": Self mode is active, or a FOMA
card (UIM) is not inserted.

packet communications cannot be established.

available": Voice calls cannot be made, but
packet communications can be established.

available": Both voice calls and packet
communications are available.
Changing the Shortcut
Function of the Channel Key
Change the function to activate by pressing u on
the standby screen or the Task change screen.
i-Channel, Camera, Schedule, Music Player,
Music&Video Channel and 1Seg can be assigned.
