Turning On or Off

 Turning On
1.
Lower the [OUTPUT] and [PHONES] sliders
to set the volume levels to their minimum.
2.
Press the [
] (Standby/On) switch.
IMPORTANT
Initial Setup (Trigger Setup Wizard)
When you turn on your DTX-PROX for the first time, the Initial Setup page will be displayed. On this page, you
will be required to specify the following. When you specify the model number, the DTX-PROX will automati-
cally optimize the trigger output levels for all of your pads.
1. Identify your drum kit using the [–][+] controllers and press the button below "OK"
([F3]).
Your drum kit's model number is indicated on the Assembly Manual for your drum kit. Make sure to select
the proper pad type (DTX**K- or DTX**K- ) for your particular drum kit.
2. When the confirmation screen appears, press the button below "YES" ([F1]).
When the initial setting is complete, the KIT screen appears.
NOTE
You can change the specified drum kit at any time after completing Initial Setup. ("Changing the Trigger Settings" (page
45))
If the initial setup is already complete, the KIT screen
appears directly after the startup screen, without showing
the Trigger Setup Wizard.
3.
If you are connected to a PA system:
Turn the external speakers on.
