5. Starting up the machine with battery*

*Only models with electric start – TEIDE and TIMANFAYA. To check the
instructions for manual starting up, please check step 5.1
1 Turn the fuel valve to allow the gasoline flow as shown in the figure below.

2 Close the air flow using the choke as indicated in the figure below, this position
enriches the fuel mixture and allows an easy starting *.
CHOKE

*It may not be necessary to use the choke if the engine was shut down recently
and is still warm.
