SECURITY INFORMATION
CA safety warnings (ca)
WARNING: Place the PC near an AC outlet. The AC power cord is the
main means of disconnecting your PC and should always be within reach.
For your safety, the power cord included with the system is grounded.
Connect the power cord only to grounded outlets to avoid the risk of elec-
tric shock.
WARNING: To reduce the possibility of electric shock through the telepho-
ne network, connect your PC to the AC outlet before connecting it to the
telephone line. For the same reason, disconnect the telephone line before
unplugging the PC from the AC outlet.
WARNING: The system includes a voltage adapter for Alternating Current
power systems 100-240V 50-60Hz 1A. The voltage adapter is set to the
voltage corresponding to the country / region where it was originally sold.
WARNING: Always disconnect the modem cable from the telephone sys-
tem when installing or removing the PC cover.
WARNING: Do not start the PC with the cover removed.
WARNING: The user should not perform any type of repair of the power
supply. To avoid damage to the power supply, entrust your repair or repla-
cement to only a qualified person. The user can carry out the maintenance
of the rest of the components.
WARNING: Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can damage the drives, add-on
cards, and other components. If you do not have an ESD station, use a
wrist strap attached to the metal part of the PC. If possible, place the cards
on a padded conductive base or inside the original card cover, but never
on the cover.
