Setting Up
Please remove the protective film or plastic bag from the mini Xiao com-
puter if there is any, and check if you install correct RAM style (DDR3 or
DDR3L or DDR4) and a HardDisk on the device before you set up the mini
computer.
1 Plug the AC cord firmly into the 12V power adapter. Plug the cord
from the power adapter into the computer. Plug the power adapter
into a grounded power outlet.
The mini computer does not come with a keyboard and mouse, but you
can use any brand USB keyboard or mouse to work with the mini compu-
ter. The Mini Xiao Computer have both USB2.0 and USB3.0 ports, so it is
ok you use the keyboard or mouse with either of the interfaces
Important: Do not place anything on top of the mini computer especially
battery or battery products.
4 Connect the mini computer with a monitor or an interactive white-
board
Connect the mini computer with a monitor by HDMI cable.
If you are using an interactive whiteboard with the mini computer, you need
connect the mini computer with the whiteboard by USB cable, meanwhile
a projector also need to connect to the computer by HDMI cable or VGA
cable.
Note: Some interactive whiteboards may need install drivers to work with
the computer, make sure that the right driver is installed before you want
to touch the whiteboard by hand or stylus. If you can't install the driver for
some reasons, use the keyboard and mouse for operating.
2 To access the internet, con-
nect an Ethernet cable or Fiber
cable.
3 Connect the USB cable from
your keyboard and mouse.
