Fuses
Fuses protect the electrical circuits on your motorcycle.
If something electrical on your motorcycle stops
working, check for and replace any blown fuses
(page 63).
 Inspecting and Replacing Fuses
Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position to remove
and inspect fuses. If a fuse is blown, replace with a
fuse of the same rating.

Replacing a fuse with one that has a higher rating
greatly increases the chance of damage to the
electrical system.
If a fuse fails repeatedly, you likely have an electrical
fault. Have your motorcycle inspected by your dealer.
Engine oil
Engine oil consumption varies and oil quality
deteriorates according to riding conditions and
time elapsed.
Check the engine oil level regularly, and add the
recommended engine oil if necessary. Dirty oil or old
oil should be changed as soon as possible.
