Car Information Tab
When a speed measurement has been taken and the record must be saved to the logs, begin by entering
information about the offending vehicle in the "Car Information" tab (Figure 36):

To Save Car Information to the Logs:
1. Tap at the bottom of the screen
comes up and allows for the entry of detailed information about the offending vehicle.
2. Tap "Plate#" field at the top of the screen to place the cursor.
3. Enter the offender's license plate number here.
4. Scroll down to find the state in which the offending vehicle is licensed.
5. Tap to select the correct state. The state abbreviation next to the field "Plate#" will adjust accordingly to
match the selected state (Figure 37).
Description of Car Information Tab Entry Fields **start here**:
Plate#: Enter the offending vehicle's license plate number.

State scrollbar: Allows for the selection of the state listed on the

offender's license plate.
• Commercial: If the vehicle is a commercial vehicle, tap "Yes". This
field automatically defaults to "No" unless it is manually changed.
• <Car Category>: Allows for the selection of the offending vehicle
category.
<Make>: Allows for selection of the offending vehicle make.

<Model>: Allows for selection of the offending vehicle model.

<Color>: Allows for selection of the offending vehicle color.
