2.4 DE Fan Description
The Power775 Disk Enclosure contains 12 internal cooling fans. Since the Disk Enclosure is capable of running with only
8 fans, a service request will not be scheduled until at least 2 or 3 fans fail depending on the location of the failed fans.
When 2 or more fans fail, the fan speed will increase to compensate and maintain airflow. See Figures 1, 2, 3, and 4 for
photographs of the Fan assembly.
