FOLDING & UNFOLDING
FOLDING & UNFOLDING YOUR BLACKHAWK SCOOTER.
To unfold your scooter, press down on the rear fender and pull the
steering column up. Raise the safety lock up and push it into place to
secure the steering column. Rotate the lock ring into place over the
safety lock. Ensure the steering column is secured in place.
Make sure your scooter is turned on. Press the power button twice to
turn your headlights and tail lights on or off.
The scooter will be in beginner mode when first used To activate the
other speed modes, ensure the Blackhawk is powered on. Press the
mode button once, the speed mode indicator should light up white
on your display to indicate Medium mode is activated. Press it once
more and the light will change to red to indicate Sport mode is
activated. Press the mode button twice, to turn your headlights and
tail light on or off.
For safety reasons, the scooter will not accelerate unless it is already
moving at least 1.8mph (3km/h). You must first kick off the ground and
then press the throttle in order to ride the scooter.
