Functions & configuration
For using inputs and outputs for features outside the folder EB8E4A, they have to be activated first.
Therefore, carry out the following configuration in CCT 800:
Select Subscriber > Station properties > ET808 family > EB8E4A.
Activate the required connections in the fields IN1 to IN3 as well as OUT 1 to OUT 4 in the respec-
tive tabs Inputs and Outputs. Change, if required, the call numbers for the associated connections
next to the activated field.
Insert the first input and output numbers manually. By activating inputs and outputs, CCT 800 as-
signs the subsequent numbers automatically.
Attention:
If an output is already assigned to a function, the selection of an other function will overwrite the existing
configuration.
Input functions
Input simulation
The eight physical inputs "E1" to "E8" on the EB8E4A can be linked with the three inputs "IN1" to "IN3"
in the configuration software CCT 800 in any order. Thus, e.g. for input messages or dialling simula-
tions, the physical input "E1" on the EB8E4A can be linked with the input "IN1" on the ET 808A.
Note:
Per cell terminal, only three inputs can be configured – e.g. for input messages. This means: If one or more
inputs of the EB8E4A are in use ("IN1" to "IN3"), the respective inputs of the ET808A are no longer avail-
able.
Carry out the following configuration in CCT 800 to link physical inputs with virtual inputs:
Select Subscriber > Station properties > ET808 family > EB8E4A > tab Inputs.
In the respective field, activate the desired input ("IN1" to "IN3").
Select Subscriber > Station properties > ET808 family > EB8E4A > # - Station # > Inputs /
Outputs > tab Input simulation.
In the drop-down list Simulated input no., define the desired input ("IN1" to "IN3").
In the drop-down list Simulated level at active input, define the level that is processed in the In-
tercom Server at an active input ("Short", "1k5", "5k6", "15k", "Break").
In the drop-down list Simulated level at inactive input, define the level that is processed in the
Intercom Server at an inactive input ("Short", "1k5", "5k6", "15k", "Break").
Define which function the Intercom Server has to carry out, when the specified input level is detected
(e.g. input message or dialling simulation). For further information, see Manual "PRO 800 Basic".
Switch contacts
Each of the eight inputs "E1" to "E8" on the EB8E4A can switch one of the four outputs "A1" to "A4".
Carry out the following configuration in CCT 800 to switch an output via an input:
Select Subscriber > Station properties > ET808 family > EB8E4A > # - Station # > Inputs /
Outputs > tab Attendant contacts.
In the drop-down list Attendant contacts, define whether the terminal output should be turned
"on" or "blinking".
In the drop-down list Output no., define which output has to be switched ("A1" to "A4").
