Vacuum-Sealing Tips (cont.)
• Always defrost frozen vacuum-sealed foods in refrigerator.
• Store all vacuum-sealed cooked foods in refrigerator or freezer.
• Vacuum-sealed bags of coffee beans, crackers, cereal, granola, and nuts can be stored at room temperature.
Making Bags From Rolls
1. Lift Lid Roller Cutter Bar and pull enough
heat-seal roll out plus another 3 inches
(10.2 cm) from Roll Caddy. Lower Roll
Cutter

to cut roll.

2. Plug into outlet. Place one open end of
bag over Heat-Seal Strip with open edge
against front of Vacuum Chamber Seal.
For best sealing, place curl side down so
end of bag points down into Chamber. Be
sure there are no folds or wrinkles.
3. Close Lid and push Lid Lock Lever down
Burn Hazard. Seal bar is hot. Avoid touching it.
w CAUTION
to lock Lid in place. Press SEAL ONLY
Button.
4. The progress bar will come on during
operation, progressing from left to right.
When finished, unit will beep. Pull Lid Lock
Lever up to release Lid and remove bag.
Wait to open Lid until unit beeps. Unplug
when finished making bags.
