7. Maintenance and Test Modes

■Maintenance mode (measurement mode)
Maintenance mode is a program to adjust the key sensor and damper pedal sensor
detection positions by measurement.
Measurement by maintenance mode shall be required in the following cases;
・If the detection position is out of standard, when checked in the test mode.
・When replacing the key sensor rail, damper pedal sensor and DM sheet, etc.
[Key sensor measurement]
For key sensor measurement, there are "All-key measurement" to rewrite the
measurement of all keys and "1-key measurement" to rewrite only a designated key.

Note 1: If the tone is consonant ("do", "mi", "sol" and "do"), the writing has already been done in the table.
If the tone is dissonant, the writing has not been done in the table.
Note 2: One key measurement requires the same procedure as for the measurement of all keys.
If more than one key is to be measured, repeat the steps 3 through 6 and then proceed to step 7).
"All-key measurement"
10F#+12G#+14A#+ power
ON (release keys in 2 sec.)
→ A tone will be sounded at
regular 2 sec intervals.
(Waiting mode)
→ Wait for about 30sec.
Depress the damper pedal.
→ Two successive tones
will be sounded at regular 1
sec intervals.
Confirm that key is in the rest
position.
Depress the damper pedal.
→ Three successive tones
will be sounded at regular 1
sec intervals.
Press 1 to 88 keys lightly one
by one to the end position.
Depress the damper pedal.
→ A tone will be sounded at
regular 2 sec intervals.
Depress the soft pedal.
→ The writing will be
completed in about 10 sec,
then 76C will sound 3 times.
Power OFF

"1-key measurement"
9F+11G+ power ON (release
keys 2 sec.)
→ Two successive tones
will be sounded at regular 1
sec intervals. (Key selection
status) *1
Press 1 key to be measured.
→ The tone will change to
the tone of the key to be
measured. *2
Confirm that key is in the rest
position.
Depress the damper pedal.
→ Three successive tones
will be sounded at regular 1
sec intervals.
Press 1 to 88 keys lightly one
by one to the end position.
Depress the damper pedal.
→ A tone will be sounded at
regular 2 sec intervals.
Depress the soft pedal.
→ The writing will be
completed in about 10 sec,
then 76C will sound 3 times.
Power OFF
