Adequate protective clothing will reduce personal injury by flying debris or accidental contact with the saw chain. • Do not operate a pole saw in a tree.     NORDIC • Follow sharpening and maintenance best practices for the saw chain. Decreasing the depth gauge height can lead to increased kickback. • The first time user should request an experienced operator in the use of the pole saw and the protective equipment, and should be have the initial practice cutting branches on a saw horse or cradle.

A loose chain increases the risk of one Counterstrike. If relaxed, the chain could jump out of the guide, resulting in injuries to the operator and be damage to the unit.

    NORDIC SETTING THE CUTTING ANGLE Make sure the unit is stopped (remove battery) Lift the locking lever and push the adjustment lever down. Set the angle of the cutting edges to the desired angle and release your hand.  Note: Lubricate the gears for every 4 hours of use.
