Database of places

number entry
Entering a space,

character...
Operating the navigation software
The data of all places covered by the currently loaded map is
stored in the database of places.
You need not enter the complete names of cities and streets as
MEDION-Navigator lists automatically all names that match
with your entry.
If you enter for example "SHE" into the Town entry field you will
obtain a list of all towns beginning or having into their names
"She" or "she".
You may then select the correct entry or enter more letters to
shorten the results list.
You may carry out all entries with your finger on the mobile
phone software keyboard.
You need not enter special characters when entering a
destination's city or street name. MEDION-Navigator replaces
these characters automatically. When you are looking for, e.g., a
French town called " Héroïnès ", simply type "HEROINES".
Tap the
icon to enter numbers, e.g. for a postcode.
Tap the
icon to return to the character entry mode.
Tap the key
to insert a space character.
Tap the key
to delete the character to the left of the insertion mark.
