WARNING
The 915GA Automatic Gate Lock is compatible with Chamberlain
CAUTION
Access Systems GA400D and GA420D. The purpose of the automatic
gate lock is to securely lock the gate in the closed position.

BEFORE STARTING
Read and follow all instructions. Check the carton inventory.
Mounting hardware is not provided. Refer to a local hardware store for
necessary mounting hardware.
• The gate lock is designed to use 5/16" diameter mounting hardware.
• For tubular gates, the following items are needed: carriage bolts,
washers, and nuts.
• For chain link gates, the following items will be needed: U-bolts,
carriage bolts, washers, and nuts.
Ensure that the gate closes properly. When the gate lock and gate bracket
are properly aligned, the gate lock will latch onto the gate bracket pin.
NOTE: Some installations may require the gate bracket to be recessed in
the mounting post so the bracket and lock will be flush and lock properly.
Instead of recessing the gate bracket, a spacer may be added between the
gate lock and the gate.

To avoid SERIOUS personal INJURY or DEATH from electrocution:
• Disconnect ALL electric and battery power BEFORE performing
ANY service or maintenance.
• This device is for use ONLY with Chamberlain
models GA400D and GA420D.
• Read and follow ALL instructions.
• Have gate in full closed position BEFORE installing the gate lock.
Size the spacer before attempting to mount the gate lock. If installing the
gate lock on a Push-to-Open gate, the gate lock must be installed on the
opposite side of the gate.

    INSTALLATION NOTE: If the gate lock is being installed on a dual gate, the gate lock must be mounted on gate 1 (primary gate) and the gate bracket must be mounted on gate 2 (secondary gate). The lock/bipart delay switch on the operator will allow gate 1 to close first followed by gate 2.
  • Page 3 NOTE: For chain link and other fencing, additional reinforcement may be needed to properly support the gate lock (see below). 5. Mount the gate bracket using hardware (not provided). Hand tighten the nuts. Nuts Washers Gate Bracket 7. Slide the washer over the gate bracket pin. Insert the cotter pin through the gate bracket pin and bend back the ends.
  • Page 4 WIRING Connect the Wire to the Control Box 1. Open the cover of the control box by loosening the four screws. Screws Control Box 2. Run the wire back to the control box. Use the cable ties to secure the wire to the gate. NOTE: Make sure that the gate does not pinch, bind, or rub the wire.

  • Page 6 RECONNECT POWER 1. Reconnect all batteries. 2. Plug in AC or Solar input. Battery Connections TEST KEY AND GATE LOCK 1. Insert the key into the gate lock and disengage by turning the key clockwise. 3. Re-engage the gate lock by turning the key counterclockwise. Remove the key.
  • Page 7 PROGRAMMING Reprogram Limits 1. Press the LEARN LIMITS button. 2. The SET OPEN LIMIT LED will blink. 3. Use the GATE 1 buttons to move gate 1 to the desired open position. Repeat if gate 2 is present using GATE 2 buttons. 4.
