USE
Pour water into the base, make sure the water level is between Min-Max.
• Immerse the aluminium tray into the water before the first use to wash the
dust away.
• Keep the aluminium tray in water while in use.
• Fill the drip tray with a little of water, so it is easy to clean after use.
Water should be added now and then, while ensuring that it does not come
into contact with
the heating element. Plug it into a grounded outlet and turn the thermostat at
the highest
setting. The red light comes on.
• During the first use there may be some smoke and smell. This is normal for
new heating elements and will disappear after a short time.
• Use the thermostat to the desired position between MIN and MAX. To grill
meat quickly select the highest setting, the MAX position. To grill on a low heat
meat and other dishes select a lower setting.
• The thermostat regulates a constant temperature. During grilling the light
comes on and off, this is normal, the temperature will be constantly adjusted.
Attention! The unit is very hot, do not touch it. Move the appliance with the EN
handles.
Always use kitchen tools for putting and turning the food on the grill and for
taking it off from the grill.
CLEANING
Remove the plug from the socket and allow all parts to cool down.
• Soak the grill in warm soapy water and remove the remains with a
dishwashing brush. The grill is also dishwasher safe.
• Empty the drip tray after each use and then clean it in warm soapy water.
• Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, steel wool or a scouring pad as this
will damage the device. Never immerse the heating element (No. 6) in water
or any other liquid.
