The term "power tool" in the safety warnings refers to your mains- operated (corded) power tool or battery- operated (cordless) power tool.

Using such devices can reduce dust-related hazards. Power tool use and care Do not expect the power tool to do more than it can. Use the correct power tool for what you want to do.
- Page 5 POW30546 Chisel bits and drill bits may be flung out of the machine accidentally and cause serious injury: Before starting to work, always check that the chisel or drill bit is properly locked in the chuck. Never start up a hammer tool until it is pressed against a workplace (wall, ceiling, etc.).
- Page 6 POW30546 Dust collection device (Fig 6) Before carrying out hammer-drilling work vertically overhead pull dust collecting device over the drill bit. Hammer stop Your hammer drill is equipped with a hammer stop facility for smooth drilling. To deactivate the hammer action, turn the lever switch clockwise to position.
