3-WAY CONFERENCE
INITIATED FROM HANDSET
You may conduct a conversation with an
outside caller using the intercom between the
handset and the base speakerphone. For
example:

While talking on the handset with an
outside caller, press
SPEAKERPHONE
on the base.

The call automatically becomes a
3-way conference.

To return to the conversation
between the handset and the outside
SPEAKERPHONE
line, press
the base.
NOTE:
Dialing is possible only from the handset during
3-way conversation.

You may conduct a conversation with an
outside caller using the intercom between the
handset and the base speakerphone when the
handset is off the base. For example:

While talking on the base with an

outside caller, press

3-way conference.

To return to the conversation
between the base and the outside

NOTES:
Pressing TALK on the handset will not set the 3-
way conversation mode while in the process of
dialing with the base.
Dialing is possible only from the handset during
3-way conversation.
AUTODIAL
STORING AUTODIAL
NUMBERS INTO THE
HANDSET
You may store up to 20 of your most
frequently dialed numbers in autodial
memory (10 in the handset and 10 in the
base). The base unit must be connected to
the electrical wall outlet with the AC adapter.

NOTES:
If you do not press a key within 20 seconds, the
CP-1260 will exit the programming mode.
If you return the handset to the cradle, the phone
will return to standby.
You cannot store phone numbers directly into the
dedicated one-touch autodial keys. See
"DEDICATED ONE TOUCH AUTODIAL BUTTONS"
on page 15 for one touch dialing.
