Statement on Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) and Product Safety
Your VERTU mobile phone conforms to the provisions of radio wave radiation guiding principles
for the mobile phone. Your mobile phone is a radio transmitter and receiver. The design for
the mobile phone does not go beyond the radio wave radiation limit range suggested by the
international guiding principles. These guiding principles are formulated by the independent
scientific organization - ICNIRP, including safety coefficients formulated to ensure the security of
people of all ages and physical conditions.
SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) or SAR measuring unit is applied based on the mobile phone
radiation guiding principles. The SAR limit value specified in the ICNIRP guiding principle is 2.0W/
kg per 10g human tissue averagely. SAR is tested at the standard operating place, and is sent by
the mobile phone at its highest identified power level on all tested frequency bands.
The actual SAR level of the working mobile phone may be lower than the maximum value,
because the mobile is designed to only use the power required by network connection. The
numerical value is dependent on various factors, for instance, the distance between you and
the network base station. According to the ICNIRP guide, the maximum value of SAR using the
device by the year is less than or equal to 2.0 W/kg.
When using at the normal position close to the ear, the mobile phone is in line with the radio
frequency radiation code requirements. If taking with the mobile phone box, belt clamp, small clip
and other articles, these articles cannot include metal parts, and the mobile phone shall be kept
away from the body.
To transmit data file or message, the device requires high-quality network connection. In some
cases, transmission of data file or message may be delayed until the network is connected.
Use of mobile phone accessories and enhanced accessories may produce different SAR values.
The SAR values may vary due to different declaration and test requirements and network
bandwidths in different countries or regions.
