Alternative Means to Power up Your Devices
You may also connect your phone to your computer with a Type-C cable.
Power saving mode
If the battery is low and you are unable to charge your device soon, you can use Power saving
mode. Power saving mode limits power use to improve battery life. It reduces your device's
performance and limits vibration, location services and most background data to help improve
battery life. As it blocks synch processes, you may have to open email, chat applications and other
applications to get new messages.
To activate Power saving mode, head to Settings > Battery > Power saving mode.
Turn Your Device On/Off
Turn on: Press and hold the power key to light up the screen.
Turn off: Press and hold the power key, and tap Power Off.
If your device stops responding, reboot it. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds or
more to reboot your device.
Note: Before removing and installing your SIM card, power off your device. This makes sure your
cards stay safe and network connection recovers soon.
Unlock Your Screen
To unlock your screen, press the power key and swipe up. You can press the power key to lock
screen. The screen locks itself after a while.
