Cleaning Programme
The device has a cleaning programme
which should be used at least once or
twice a month, and more frequently if the
device is used regularly.
1. Drain any remaining water (see previ-
ous section).
2. Wipe out the inside of the device
with a cloth that has been soaked in a
water/vinegar solution.
3. Fill the water tank (6) with fresh water
(see the "Preparation" chapter).
4. Plug the connecting cable into a
plug socket that is easily accessible.
The light for the set ice cube size (11
or 12) lights up and the POWER
light (17) fl ashes.
5. Press the SELECT button (14) to select
the cleaning programme CLEAN (13).
6. Start the cleaning programme by
pressing the ON / OFF button (10).
The POWER light is constantly lit.
The device pumps the water through
the device for approx. 6 minutes and
then switches to stand-by mode.
7. Use the device in the usual way or
prepare it for storage (see previous
section).

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the device does not work properly,
check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself. If the problem cannot
be solved with the steps below, contact
the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair an elec-
trical device yourself!
The device does not work.
The mains plug is not inserted in the plug
socket correctly.
► Correct the fit of the mains plug.
The plug socket is defective.
► Try another plug socket.

There is no mains voltage.
► Check the fuse of the mains
connection.
The device was not started.
► Press the ON / OFF button (10) to
start the production of the ice cubes
or the cleaning programme.
The ice cube container (7) is full. /
The ICE FULL light (15) is lit.
► Empty the ice cube container.
The device carries on working auto-
matically.
The water tank (6) is empty. / The ADD
WATER light (16) is lit.
► Fill the water tank and restart the
device by pressing the ON / OFF
button (10).
The fuse in the fuse box is triggered.
Too many devices connected to the same
circuit.
► Reduce the number of devices in the
circuit.
Water runs out of the device.
There is too much water in the water
tank (6).
► Do not overfill the water tank!
The drain plug (5) is not fi tted correctly in
the device.
► Correct the fit of the drain plug.
During use, an unpleasant smell is
detected.
The device is being used for the fi rst time.
► A smell often develops when new de-
vices are first used. The smell should
disappear once the device has been
used several times.
