6. Check the printed nozzle check pattern. If part of the top pattern is missing,
see "Cleaning the Printhead" on page 22 for procedures.

loaded.
2. In a software application, click F F i i l l e e ,
then P P a a g g e e S S e e t t u u p p .
3. Click U U t t i i l l i i t t i i e e s s . The Canon S500 Printer
Utility window will appear.
4. Select T T e e s s t t P P r r i i n n t t from the drop-down
menu.
5. Click the N N o o z z z z l l e e C C h h e e c c k k button. When
prompted, click O O K K . The nozzle test pattern will print.
6. When done, click C C l l o o s s e e .
