Failuretofollowthewarningsandinstructionsmayresult
inelectricshock,fireand/orseriousinjury.
• Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the
off-positionbeforeconnectingtobatterypack,picking
uporcarryingtheappliance.Carryingtheappliancewith
yourfingerontheswitchorenergizingappliancethat
have the switch on invites accidents.
• Disconnectthebatterypackfromtheappliancebefore
makinganyadjustments,changingaccessories,or
storingappliance.Suchpreventivesafetymeasures
reducetheriskofstartingtheapplianceaccidentally.

flushwithwater.Ifliquidcontactseyes,additionallyseek
medicalhelp.Liquidejectedfromthebatterymaycause
irritation or burns.
• Donotuseabatterypackorappliancethatisdamaged
ormodified.Damagedormodifiedbatteriesmayexhibit
unpredictablebehaviorresultinginfire,explosionorrisk
ofinjury.
• Donotexposeabatterypackorappliancetofireor
excessivetemperature.Exposuretofireortemperature
above130°C(265°F)maycauseexplosion.
• Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the
batterypackorapplianceoutsideofthetemperature
rangespecifiedintheinstructions.Chargingimproperly
orattemperaturesoutsideofthespecifiedrangemay
damagethebatteryandincreasetheriskoffire.
• Haveservicingperformedbyaqualifiedrepairperson
usingonlyidenticalreplacementparts.Thiswillensure
thatthesafetyoftheproductismaintained.
• Donotmodifyorattempttorepairtheapplianceorthe
batterypackexceptasindicatedintheinstructionsfor
use and care.
10. Importantsafetyinstructionsforbatterycartridge.
• Beforeusingbatterycartridge,readallinstructionsand
cautionarymarkingson(1)batterycharger,(2)battery,
and(3)productusingbattery.
• Donotdisassembleortamperthebatterycartridge.It
mayresultinafire,excessiveheat,orexplosion.
• Ifoperatingtimehasbecomeexcessivelyshorter,
stopoperatingimmediately.Itmayresultinariskof
overheating, possible burns and even an explosion.
• Ifelectrolytegetsintoyoureyes,rinsethemoutwithclear
waterandseekmedicalattentionrightaway.Itmayresult
inlossofyoureyesight.
• Donotshortthebatterycartridge.
