Operating safety

 Before using the device for the first time, check
the device and mains adapter for damage. A
defective or damaged radio or mains adapter
may not be used.
 Do not place containers filled with liquid, e.g.
vases, on or near the product, and protect all
the parts from drips or splashes. Such contain-
ers may tip over and the liquid may impair the
electrical safety of the device.
 If the mains adapter, mains cable or device
is damaged, immediately unplug the mains
adapter from the socket.
 When disconnecting the mains power adapter
from the power socket, always pull on the plug
rather than on the cable.
 If the device has been moved from a cold to
a warm space, condensation may form in-
side the device and mains adapter. Wait a few
hours before using the device.
