Shooting with the FE Lock

Just as with the AE lock (p. 90), you can lock the exposure for shooting with
the flash. FE stands for "Flash Exposure".

Auto Exposure Bracketing (AEB Mode)

The camera automatically changes the exposure to take three shots at the
same interval as continuous shooting (p. 75). The images are shot in the
following order: Standard exposure, underexposure, and overexposure.
Raise the flash and choose h
(p. 69).
Lock the exposure.
Point the camera toward the subject and
press the b button while pressing the
shutter button halfway.
The flash will fire and when ¤ appears,
the flash output will be retained.
If you release your finger from the shutter
button and press another button, ¤ will
disappear and the FE will unlock.
Compose the scene and shoot.
