Safety Notes

Keep children away while operating the jack, and do not allow children to
handle the jack.
Inspect the jack for damage or cracks. Do not use the jack if it is not in
proper condition.
All moving parts must be sufficiently lubricated. Use liberal amounts of a
suitable lubricant.
Do not use the jack to lift loads by means of straps or ropes. Stretched
ropes contract rapidly upon breaking and will violently whiplash. This can
injure or kill bystanders. Use exclusively chains with a sufficient strength
rating.
This jack can lift or pull things, but it can not guide a load. Make sure a load
can not fall over or move in unexpected directions.
Make sure the jack always has a secure stand and the load always sits on
the jaw securely. Otherwise, the load may slip off the jaw and the jack may
be thrown away forcefully.
Lift the load only on spots which are able to withstand the force of the jack
and provide a firm hold. If necessary use suitable lifting accessories.
Operate the reversing switch only when the lever is parallel to the rail.
Otherwise, the load may fall instantly.
To be able to slowly lower a load the jack must be under a load of at least
75 kg.
When lowering a load always maintain a secure hold on the lever. Under
some conditions it may be thrown up forcefully.
ALWAYS support a load with suitable blocks before persons step under
them.
