Memory Card Operation
Problem
Memory card cannot be
inserted.
Memory card cannot be
recorded.
Memory card cannot be
played back.
Camcorder does not
display movies in CARD
PLAY (VCR) mode.
Image cannot be erased.
flashes red.
Printing
The printer is not
operating even though
camcorder and printer
are correctly connected.
Cause
Memory card was not facing
the correct direction.
Memory card is full.
Memory card is not
formatted.
Memory card is not inserted.
File number reached
maximum value.
SD Memory Card is
protected.
Camcorder is not set to
CARD PLAY (VCR) mode.
Memory card is not inserted.
The camcorder displays the
still image playback mode.
The movie was recorded in
Motion JPEG format with
another camcorder.
Image is protected.
SD memory card is
protected.
Card error occurred.
The camcorder is set to
NETWORK mode.
Solution
Turn the memory card over
and reinsert it.
Replace the memory card or
erase images.
Format the memory card.
Insert a memory card.
Set [FILE NUMBERS] to
[RESET] and insert a new
memory card.
Change the position of the
protect switch.
Set the camcorder to CARD
PLAY (VCR) mode.
Insert a memory card.
Press the CARD STILL/MOVIE
button to switch to MPEG4
movie playback.
Motion JPEG movies are
displayed in still image
playback mode. Press the
CARD STILL/MOVIE button
to switch to still image
playback.
Cancel the protection.
Change the position of the
protect switch.
Turn off the camcorder.
Remove and reinsert the
memory card. Format the
memory card if flashing
persists.
1. Set the camcorder to
CARD PLAY (VCR) mode.
2. Disconnect and reconnect
the USB cable.
3. Turn off the printer and
turn it back on.
