c) Installing the Receiver Aerial Cable
Uncoil the aerial cable completely and smooth it
out carefully.
Then insert the aerial cable through the attach-
ment at the vehicle from below and then through
the included aerial tube.
Plug the aerial tube into the respective holder at
the vehicle (see arrow in the figure on the right).
Let any excess aerial cable protrude loosely from
the tip of the aerial tube.
Removing the battery holder helps to more eas-
ily thread the aerial cable through the holder. For
this, turn out the four screws that fasten the bat-
tery holder to the chassis.
Make sure that the aerial cable does not protrude into the drive or touch the cardan shaft. It is normally
sufficient to slightly tighten the cable or fix it in place with a cable tie. Never shorten the aerial cable! Never
coil the aerial cable! This greatly reduces the range!
d) Preparing the Car Body
Depending on the car body used, the corresponding spacers must be installed at the vehicle chassis, and the match-
ing holes must be drilled in the car body.
These holes can be made with a common spiral drill or a special car body drill.
Also remember to drill another hole for the aerial tube after placing the aerial cable for the receiver.
Metal clips for fastening the car body are included with the vehicle.
e) Inserting Batteries/Rechargeable Batteries into the Transmitter
If you have not done so yet, insert batteries or fully charged rechargeable batteries into your transmitter. Observe the
operating instructions for the remote control system used by you.

f) Taking the Transmitter into Operation

Switch on the transmitter and put the trimming for steering and driving functions into the centre positions.
If the transmitter has a dual rate function, deactivate it or set it to unlimited steering deflection. Please also note the
operating instructions of the remote control system.
