The BIOS setup is used to set the system resources.
Gefran supplies the system with the BIOS settings defined for the type of hardware used. Any change to these
settings must be done very carefully and by an expert, because incorrect settings may cause the system to mal-
function.

Setup is accessed by pressing the DEL key at power-on.
After this, access the MAIN menu.
Methods for setting and selecting parameters are described at the foot of the menus.
Once the required item is selected with the ENTER key, the selection of settings is enabled.
The BIOS is divided into various menus to optimize configuration of the board.
The main menu is divided into the following categories:
• Standard CMOS Features: Basic system configurations.
• Advanced BIOS Features: Advanced system features.
• Advanced Chipset Features: Access to chipset registers to optimize system performance.
• Integrated Peripherals: Settings for peripherals integrated in system CPU.
• Power Management Setup: Settings to manage system power.
• PnP / PCI Configuration: Present only if the system supports PnP / PCI.
• PC Health Status: Monitors system status.
• Load Optimized Defaults: Use this menu to load the BIOS default values set in the factory to optimize system
performance.
