  • Page 6 DIGISTAR II : INSTALLATION AND FIXING SYSTEM The installation system is the same for both 10,4”, 12.1”,15” DIGISTAR II and DIGISTAR II Control with display versions. After having carried out the housing according to the template indicated in the drawing, insert the DIGISTAR II from the front, prepare the relative fixing blocks into the respective housings and screw down.

    Carry out installation of the system by putting the air outlet at the top as shown in the drawing. The connections of external resources are available at the bottom and through standard connectors. The resources available are the same for the DIGISTAR II and GF-BOX. INSTALLATION Do not install the product within equipment or boxes that do not have suitable air circulation or a thermal exchange that can maintain the temperature below the maximum temperature of the various models.

  • Page 21 The remoting system allows the DIGIPANEL and GT_O display to be connected up to a distance of 25 m. The electrical connection must be made using the Gefran prewired cable (see specific document) or by following the constructive specifications of the cable.
  • Page 22 ACCESS TO THE INTERNAL RESOURCES OF THE SYSTEM Before opening the system we recommend that you switch off Digistar II, DIGISTAR II Control or GF-BOX using the ON/OFF switch provided. In order to access the internal resources of the system, a flat blade screwdriver is required.

The HD is installed onto the towers provided for the PC104 module. When PC104 modules are installed, the HD block is always installed as the last.
