PROFILE
GT-SER 2 is a serial bus expansion
module for industrial PCs and for
Digistar II and GT-C control termi-
nals.
It provides 2 optically isolated serial
channels protected against overvol-
tages.
It performs control and interfaces the
communication network with RS-232,
RS-485, RS-422 standards, selecta-
ble with DIP-Switches.
The serial connection uses a D-Sub 9
pin male connector for COM3 and an
RJ10 4 pin connector for COM4.
In the Digistar II, GT-C and GFBOX
terminals, the expansion module
inserts in the expansion 2 custom slot
(EXP 2).
