A spring applied brake (24V DC) is integrated into the motors. When this brake is de-energized it blocks the rotor. Secure hanging loads! If there is a suspended load (vertical axes), the motor's holding brake is released, and, at the same time, the servo drive does not produce any output, the load may fall down!     The site must be free of conductive and aggressive material. For V3-mounting (shaft end upwards), make sure that no liquids can enter the bearings. If an encapsulated assembly is required, please consult Emerson beforehand. Ensure an unhindered ventilation of the motors and observe the permissible ambient and flange temperatures.
