    Pre-Installation PLANNING THE INSTALLATION Read all instructions before assembly and installation. Before starting installation of the fixture or removal of a previous fixture, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse at the fuse box. To avoid damaging this product, assemble it on a soft, non-abrasive surface such as carpet or cardboard.

    Installation Attaching the mounting bracket  Thread two hex nuts (FF) onto the nipple (AA) to the midpoint.  Thread the nipple (AA) in through the center hole of the mounting bracket (CC) approximately 1/3 of the way. Do not tighten the hex nuts (FF).
  • Page 6 Installation (continued) Attaching the socket plate  Separate the arms on the main fixture body (A) evenly around the center.  Thread the center tube (E) onto the coupling .  Thread the top loop (NN) onto the top of the center tube (E) .
  • Page 7 Installation (continued) Adjusting the chain length Opened Chain Link  Attach the chain (DD) to the top loop (NN) using the chain link connector (LL).  Raise the chain (DD) and the main fixture body (A) up to the outlet box to determine the desired length needed for installation.
  • Page 8 Installation (continued) Threading the cord  Feed the cord and fixture ground wire into the center hole of the screw collar loop (MM), through the nipple (AA), and then out of the outlet box.  Continue feeding the cord and fixture ground wire until there is no slack remaining.
  • Page 9 Installation (continued) Securing the canopy  Slide the canopy (B) up the chain (DD), toward the outlet box, and up against the ceiling surface.  Slide the threaded ring (KK) up the chain (DD) and thread it onto the screw collar loop (MM) to secure the canopy (B) flush against the ceiling surface.

    Operation  Turn on power at the circuit breaker or fuse box.  Turn the light switch on to activate the fixture. Care and Cleaning EXTERIOR MAINTENANCE NOTE: Do not use any cleaners with chemicals,  solvents, or harsh abrasives.   • Page 17 Instalación Sujetando la ménsula de montaje  Enrosque dos tuercas hexagonales (FF) en la boquilla (AA) hasta su punto medio aproximado.  Enrosque la boquilla (AA) a través del agujero central de la ménsula de montaje (CC) 1/3 aproximadamente de su profundidad.
